Abstract

Vascular malformations are errors in vascular morphogenesis that are present at birth and become evident due to some event like trauma, surgery or infection. This pathology was previously classified as a hemangioma and the treatment continues controversial in literature. Series of cases: Report of three cases of intra osseous vascular malformations in the face, one in maxilla and two in the mandible. Females and males with a mean age of 15 years complained of increased volume in middle and lower third of the face without associated symptoms. They present alterations in the pattern of osseous aspect under images analyses, lobulations or deferent tissues density. All patients underwent surgery to biopsy the lesion with abundant hemorrhage without other particularities as well none different tissue fragment to biopsy Conclusion: In conclusion it is note that a multidisciplinary care is required for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring patients with this lesion that can be confused with a series of pathologies, bringing great trouble with conducts and proceedings with difficult resolution.
