International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry is a peer reviewed quarterly journal emphasizing on newer research fields employing advanced techniques, latest methodologies, case reports & reviews in the speciality of maxillo-facial prosthetic dentistry. It is a quarterly online publishing journal Cover_IJPD and the motto of the journal is dedication to Prosthodontics, Maxillo-facial prosthetics and Implantology. The Journal also focuses to provide readers with better quality national and international articles and supporting systems, which can also answer the query of the authors, readers and subscribers through becoming users of this journal by registering.The journal not only focuses on the promotion of original research but will also bridge the gap between the Prosthodontist and other clinicians, by encouraging newer techniques and materials in the form of case reports, which can enhance day today skill and knowledge required in clinics.
The role of this Journal is to keep its readers informed of research, clinical developments, clinical opinions and treatments as well as other key issues of relevance to dentistry as practiced in India and that of other countries.
International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry also would also focus on the latest updates on materials and techniques so as to augment the information and to stimulate interest, debate, discussion and interaction among dentists and specialists of all disciplines within the field of dentistry.
This is a quarterly published online journal which would be adhering to the policy of peer reviewing by at least 2 well qualified dental professionals who excel in the field under which the prospective article categories may be defined and the articles would strictly follow the NLM/DTD specifications laid out by the National Library of Medicine. The article templates use the NLM-XML schema outlined and the articles would be made available in mandatory Portable Document Format and also could easily be exported to NLM-XML format with ref-backs enabled for each DTD specified modules.
In addition to articles, the journal provides a repository for resources such as links, curricula, data sets, syllabi, software, and instructional materials which developers may wish to make available free to the open source community and be a platform for constructive interaction between like minded researchers to share ideas and concepts in their respective fields.
